My late father established his clothing factory in 1989. The brand was known as 2K. A varied portfolio of clothes were introduced to the Egyptian market and the brand was renowned for its high quality end products. Sadly, with my father's declining health and after many years of great success, the factory had to close down in (2002). 

Working abroad in number of multinationals as a senior manager I was required to travel all over the world for business. With a passion for fashion, my travels meant that I had the opportunity to sample the world's best fashions from the top fashion designers. 

The more I travelled the more I kept asking myself why there is not a strong Egyptian presence in the fashion world. For starters Egyptians love fashion and are keen followers of the latest trends and as a nation we definitely don't lack imagination. Secondly Egypt has the best quality cotton in the world, latest machines for every clothes manufacturing process are available and an abundance of trained labor that can produce clothes of the highest quality that can rival and compete with the top known brands out there. 

Thinking about my father's factory always brought nostalgia to me and the desire to reopen the factory kept growing, in my heart I knew I had to, but more importantly I needed to. Finally after retiring from international travels and settling back in beloved country, I decided to go through with my burning desire and re-ignite the flame by restarting my father's business, bringing in a new concept and ideas from my travels. I am very passionate about this project and I strongly believe that our products will be able to quickly establish itself within the Egyptian market and beyond. My dream is to make PROF.KNOTS a globally recognised brand that represents innovation and quality. 

PROF.KNOTS would be our ambassador to the world. We as a team are working very hard day and night to achieve our dream and share our vision.
